How about spending your Friday night at the Stedelijk with a visit to the new exhibition “Studio Drift: Coded Nature”, with an exclusive presentation by the curator – just for you?
The Stedelijk, museum of modern and contemporary art & design, is open every Friday until 22:00. During the Stedelijk Friday Night you can start the weekend in an artful way, there are often film screenings, performances, lectures, debates and interviews. For a selected group of guests, an international evening is organised at the museum to experience the much credited exhibition by Dutch duo Studio Drift on Friday the 27th of July 2018. The work of Studio Drift occupies a unique place at the interface between tech art, performance, and biodesign. Many of their installations are interactive, making the viewer a participant in the work. Experience their floating concrete block The Drifter or poetic work Fragile Future for yourself!
We start at the auditorium with drinks and an introduction talk by the curator, followed by a visit to the exhibition in presence of the artists and curator. Afterwards you can visit the exhibition and start your weekend artful & inspired!
