Creative meetup – Digital Innovation in the Creative Industry

Creativity and technology were worlds apart for a long time, now they’ve blended together into the perfect combination of beauty and brains. Technology provides the power, data and AI to fuel creative ideas with measurable effect, while the creatives’ Design thinking fuels better and faster development.

During the upcoming Creative Meetup, we’ll experience the beautiful things that happen when the worlds of technology and creativity join forces. How big ideas transform businesses, and how it could affect yours too. So, let’s get inspired by these exciting new opportunities.

Speakers

Matthijs Klinkert // Director, Fabrique

Design thinking as a Catalyst for technical innovations – Technical innovations are racing towards us at an ever-increasing speed. Self-driving cars, blockchain, artificial intelligence, the list goes on and on. Every entrepreneur knows the feeling he is lagging behind and is missing opportunities, if you fail to see the next big thing. In this talk Matthijs Klinkert will show why Design Thinking is the best way to bridge the gap between technology push and real needs of your target audience. And show a way to make technical innovations work or change into meaningful products.

Tobin Nageotte // Technology Director, 72andsunny

Everybody knows IKEA and their will to innovate. The best proof of this is IKEA Place, an augmented reality app that allows people to put IKEA products into their own living room.  Enter 72andsunny, who’ve been part of every step along the way, from initial development to connecting AR to IKEA’s company mission. Tobin, will share the full story of the most downloaded non-game AR app during this Creative Meetup. You may also know Tobin from his past job at Sony Playstation where he directed and produced game cinematics.
