NYC times three – wrapping up the year with a trio of launches before 2020.

The decade – and 2019 – may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean our NYC teams have stopped creating new workplaces all over the Big Apple. In preparation for a busy start to 2020, they’ve been putting in the finishing touches to three sparkling openings in Manhattan and beyond. With Spaces DUMBO, Spaces Hell’s Kitchen and Spaces Penn Plaza set to spread some cheer into the new year, there’s a New York coworking location on the horizon whichever part of the city grabs your attention.

Dutch vibes

Brooklyn has come a long way since it was known as the place of “six Dutch towns” 350 years ago, when the colonial era turned it into a western outpost of the Netherlands. These days, it’s something of a tech centre – and DUMBO (short for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) boasts the highest concentration of startups around. As might be expected of an industry that attracts such a flexible crowd, the DUMBO coworking options are many but anyone looking for something special – like a historic structure and a loft-style setting, complete with those views of that famous bridge – would do well to check out what Spaces has to offer when it comes to office space in DUMBO. No self-respecting New Yorker would ever be more than a few blocks away from the subway, of course, and this location is no different; added to which, the Sands Street & Pearl Street Bus Stop is just outside.

Heading over that bridge and into Manhattan, Spaces Hell’s Kitchen on the west side of the island provides a very different setting but a no-less professional environment for creative types and go-getters alike. Just like DUMBO, private meeting rooms, open offices and collaborative lounges are the order of the, should you need an address to impress. The proximity of the Hudson River not only makes for a refreshing breeze when the wind’s in the right direction, but also means the West Side Highway is easily accessible.

All in the neighborhood

What is it about Chelsea? Head further into the heart of Manhattan and say hey to our third opening of the season: even if we do say it ourselves, this recently renovated Penn Plaza office space has never looked so good. The area around Penn Station has become to the go-to destination for big-name US companies like Amazon, JP Morgan and Pfizer – so expect an interesting mix of creative, finance and medical types (with a healthy dose of tech) on every corner. Perhaps it’s the proximity of world-class cultural institutions like The Museum at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) and Madison Square Garden that attracts these curious minds, alongside the top-class transport links (that station again!) and the general buzz of being in a neighborhood that’s alive with possibility. Housed in a classic Gotham-style office block, Spaces Penn Plaza’s suite of private offices, designer communal areas and well-appointed meeting rooms has everything you’ve come to expect – and the super-fast Wi-Fi throughout means you’re always connected wherever you choose to rest up.

 The perfect match

Spaces and the Big Apple are about as compatible as they come. And because we know that everyone’s different (this is the original melting pot, after all), it’s our mission to make Spaces for everyone – no matter what you do or who you are. That’s why we’re working hard to provide office space in New York City to the city’s many professionals looking to make it big. How good would it be to have access to a comfortable workspace wherever the day takes you?
