The meeting place you didn’t know you needed, until now

In a world where design is becoming much more accessible and affordable, it’s hard to find it amongst the balance of quality. Once you get involved, it’s addictive. Attention to detail becomes much like an addiction. You enjoy it at home, so why not enjoy it at work? Meeting place or mind space, you want something that’s nice.

There’s more to life than money.

In current global shenanigans, it seems that much of the world is becoming more divided. But there are many companies out there that are striving for unity, and many are turning towards collaborating. Be it big-boss companies striving for the ideal ‘commercial real estate‘ location, or smaller companies merely looking for a few desks to rent, they’re aiming to strengthen their working forces to increase their productivity.  But there’s more to motivation than the old carrot and stick method. If you think about it, if you gather a bunch of people that all appreciate nice things, they’re going to feel inspired. Their creative juices will be flowing and bonding is much more likely.

Meeting rooms full of Goldfish.

Formal settings can be great if you’ve got an important meeting, but have you ever thought about people’s tendencies to lose focus? More people than you think, and yes, adults too, have the attention span of a goldfish. It’s a nice alternative to be able to be able to get up and wander and appreciate your surroundings. If you’re anything like me, your perception of time is split up into ‘only 3 more sets of 10 minutes’ and your foot is tapping at 100 beats per minute. Although pretty things can encourage your eyes to wander, at least your still going to be comfortable  and half-content in your chair. At Spaces we think it’s important that all aspects of your working life are fun and inspiring. Yes, even meeting rooms. After all, no one wants to be cooped up in a dull meeting room. Just because your boss may be monotonous doesn’t mean your surroundings have to be too.

Train the brain and high spirits will follow.

Design shouldn’t just be accessible at home, in galleries or in your studio. It’s nice to be immersed in it all day long. You become critical of your everyday environment, constantly challenging boundaries in the meeting place. In a sense it’s a form of brain training, I suppose. The challenge of being observant. What we’re trying to say is, if you appreciate your surroundings, it’s going to have a domino effect. You’re happier, your clients and colleagues are going to be happier, so you’re going to achieve your goals in better spirit. And that’s why Spaces is the meeting place (and coworking space) you never knew you needed. Until now.
