Negotiation is simply a discussion with the goal of reaching an agreement. Negotiation is needed in any role and any career, as you advocate for yourself, your projects and your ideas.

Get what you want, while working with  the party using collaborative approaches. Join us to learn how to get a win-win solution in any situation. We will also look at practical negotiation tips and approaches that are applicable to anyone.

Focusing more specifically on women, we will look at common issues women are faced with negotiation and how to manoeuvre them.

As a very broad generalization, women may not be as comfortable advocating for themselves, and may not be as quick to advance their own point of view. We will discuss whether this is socialized or not. We will look at why, and how to incorporate any gender barriers to your negotiation style.
