ADE x Spaces: Brain Hacking Breakfast

A brainy breakfast

As you might know, music is a good brainfood. It activates parts in your brain that make you happier, smarter and more productive. But the functioning of our brain can also be influenced by what we eat. This breakfast session gives you a sneak peek into your own brain. Orthomolecular therapist Wout van Helden tells us more about the functionality of our brains, neurotransmitters and the impact on your performance and behaviour. During this event you will learn how to get more out of your brain it with the right nutrition and lifestyle.

Brainfood for thought

So, as you can imagine: this is not your ordinary morning meal. After this breakfast you can kickstart your ADE week with full awareness of the functioning of your brain. You will walk out of the door with personal insight into the functioning of the following neurotransmitters in your brain:

  • Dopamine: influences the power of the brain
  • Acetylcholine: affects the processing speed of information
  • GABA: arranges matters such as relaxation and stability
  • Serotonin: gives a good feeling and provides mental flexibility

How cool is that? Don’t miss out and make sure you save your spot. And claim it on Facebook.

About the speaker

We find that often, it’s tricky to pinpoint what causes or a cures a health issue someone is experiencing. With this, myriad lifestyle advices, food supplements and diets are advised without being connected to a specific individual’s needs. Through Brain Hacking, Wout combines insights from modern medicine and human evolution to come up with inventive, personalised solutions for finding and fixing all kinds of physical and mental health problems. Whether it is caused by nutrition, hereditary conditions or something else, with the proper tools anyone can hack their way to success.

Wout runs his business from the Westerstraat, where he puts his background in orthomolecular medicine and psychoneuroimmunology (or PNI for short) to practice.
